VEGF
血管内皮生长因子(VEGF),原名为血管通透性因子(VPF),是一种由许 多细胞产生的信号蛋白,可刺激血管的形成。具体来说,VEGF 是生长因子 的一个亚家族,即血小板衍生的生长因子家族的胱氨酸结生长因子。它们是参与血管生成(胚胎循环系统的从头形成)和血管生成(从预先存在的血管 生长)的重要信号蛋白。当血液循环不足时,如在缺氧条件下,它是恢复组织氧气供应的系统的一部分。支气管哮喘和糖尿病患者的血清中 VEGF 浓度较高。VEGF 的正常功能是在胚胎发育过程中创造新的血管,在受伤后创造新的血管,在运动后创造肌肉,以及创造新的血管(侧支循环)以绕过阻塞的血管。它可以促成疾病。固体癌症如果没有足够的血液供应,就不能超过有限的大小;能够表达血管内皮生长因子的癌症能够生长和转移。血管内皮生长因子的过度表达可导致眼睛视网膜和身体其他部位的血管疾病。 aflibercept、bevacizumab、ranibizumab 和 pegaptanib 等药物可以抑制 VEGF,控制或减缓这些疾病。
可检测样本中大鼠的VEGF,且与其类似物无明显交叉反应。

在选取的健康大鼠血清、血浆和细胞培养上清中加入3个不同浓度水平的大鼠VEGF,计算回收率
分别在选取的4份健康大鼠血清、血浆和细胞培养上清中加入高浓度大鼠VEGF,在标准曲线动力学范围内进行稀释,评估线性。
