骨钙素又称骨R-羟基谷氨酸蛋白(R-hydroxy glutamic acid protein,GLa蛋白),是一种由49个氨基酸组成的蛋白质。它属于非胶原酸性糖蛋白,是一种维生素K依赖性钙结合蛋白。它主要由成骨细胞、成牙质细胞合成,还有一些由增生的软骨细胞合成,在非羧化形式下,骨钙素在体内起着激素的作用,在胰腺、脂肪、肌肉、睾丸和大脑中发出信号,它在调节骨钙代谢中起重要作用,是研究骨代谢的一项新的生化标志物,对骨质疏松综合征、钙代谢异常等疾病诊断有重要价值。
可检测样本中大鼠的BGP;OCN,且与其类似物无明显交叉反应。

分别在选取的4份健康大鼠血清、血浆、细胞培养上清中加入高浓度大鼠BGP;OCN,在标准曲线动力学范围内进行稀释,评估线性。
